CEO & Co-Founder

Kim is the CEO and leads Partner and Client Relations at Rise Results, an organization dedicated to driving business success through innovative workforce strategies. With a keen ability to identify opportunities within organizations, Kim co-creates with clients and delivers solutions that enhance workplace engagement, foster a strong corporate culture, and drive sustainable growth.

Before founding Rise Results, Kim built a distinguished career in nonprofit management. As Vice President of Sponsorship for Watermark, a women's leadership organization, she was responsible for the organization's growth and revenue, securing and managing over 48 sponsor contracts with leading companies such as Google, Juniper, VMware, Palo Alto Networks, Amazon, KPMG, and Bank of America.

Kim is also an experienced Congressional Ambassador, having lobbied for Alzheimer's research funding and advocated at the federal and state levels for research funding and public policies that improve the lives of those living with Alzheimer's disease and their families. She currently serves as Board Chair for the Alzheimer's Association of Northern California Northern Nevada Chapter. 

She is a sought-after speaker at conferences on culture, engagement, and impact, and she is a frequent guest and contributor to numerous podcasts and blogs. 

Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Washington.

Chief Strategy Officer & Co-Founder

With over 30 years of experience in the corporate world, Marilyn has held various roles, such as a C-Suite executive, entrepreneur, and executive coach. Her most notable achievement is being recognized as a global thought leader in culture and talent development. Marilyn’s expertise has been acknowledged with numerous prestigious awards globally and in Silicon Valley.  Before co-founding Rise Results, Marilyn was CEO of Watermark, launching their widely recognized Conference for Women and creating breakthrough custom learning programs for 48 corporate sponsors.  Prior to becoming Watermark's CEO, Marilyn was Chief Diversity Officer at Cisco.  She was recognized as a pioneer in culture work at Cisco, shifting the focus to inclusion, launching the first Inclusion and Belonging Index, creating flexible work practices, and developing the Maturity Model that has become the industry standard.

Marilyn has consulted with pre- and post-IPO companies, Fortune 500 companies, and global multinational companies on developing and implementing culture and talent development strategies. She is an internationally sought-after speaker and continues to deliver workshops for clients.  Marilyn is the executive producer of Sonoma TEDx, was a senior advisor to the Center for Talent and Innovation, and has served on the Board of Directors of Watermark, Professional Businesswomen of California (PBWC), the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering, Inc. (NACME), UPWARD, Ceres, and Family and Children Services. Marilyn serves on the Advisory Boards of YOL and the Advisory Council of Courageous Leadership.
